Hello,
Today, I am writing my first article in english. We have a lot of english speaking people in our campsite and we would like to involve them in our blog.
This week is a good occasion because we are hosting quite a big « caravan club » group. They have made an exciting journey through latin Europe countries.
At the beggining they went down France, eating some cheese, drinking some wine and champagne ! But not that much, do not forget that they have to drive their cars or motohomes ! Then they discovered Italie and its beautiful renaissance style cities like Venise and Florence. Before leaving for Bareclona by ferry a visit of Rome was necessary !
Few days in spain and it is time to go home …
… But before they have to go across France again, they are discovering our « famous » (I would like
Marais Poitevin !
In their schedule: punt trip, train trip, and gastronomic experience !
Wednesday, all the group, will come and have a diner in our restaurant « La nappe à carreaux ».
A feast for the eyes and a journey of gastronomic delights for the tast buds ! (i did not find this sentence alone, my english is not that good
)
Yesterday already, ten of them came and tested Martine delights. They enjoyed so much that Martine has written the recipe of « mousse de bettrave à la ciboulette ».
Now, It is you turn !

umh ...

Your English is already excellent (almost Shakespearean in quality!) – but what of Moliere may I ask?
Although we are not part of the Grand Tour by members of the Caravan Club, we are visiting your famous Marais Poitevin, me for the first time (and love at first site) and Liz for the first time since she was five years old – almost back to Moliere! – and still holding some fond memories for her.
Today we cycled about 30 kilometres through some of your most lovely countryside, stoping for an excellent, although unplanned, lunch in St George de-Rex. Our visit to this area this year, and to your excellent campsite, is only of a short duration but we are already planning for an extended visit in the not too distant future.
Many thanks for the warm welcome and for providing such great weather.
We are part of the British Caravan Club group currently visiting La Venise Verte as part of our Grand European Tour. The site is simply the best we have experienced on the tour (involving four countries) for we have much enjoyed the facilities on site (not least the restaurant), the area and the friendliness of the local people. Highly recommended.
We have really enjoyed our stay on your site, I agree with everthing that Colin has already said. This is a site that is well worth visiting again. Thankyou for mentioning our tour on your blog, you can find out more about what we have been doing by following our Grand Tour blog which can be found at:

I agree with all the comments made by Colin about your site. The presentation, food and service that your team gave us for our final meal made our stay in your beatiful area special and I thank you for that on behalf of all our group. There are pictures of our meal and details of the rest of our journey on our blog which you can find at http://touristsineurope.wordpress.com
